歯医者麻酔事件

朝10時30分に歯医者に行った。 すぐに麻酔をうたれ治療された。
その後BJに来て仕事を始めた。まだ口の周りがかなり痺れていた。
日本語で話すのは、そんなに苦ではなかった。
しかし、英語となると、うまく口が動かせず、まるで酔っ払いが話しているようだった。
テリーは私に「お酒飲んで仕事来ちゃダメよ」と言ったが、飲んでるわけではなかった。
日本語と英語では、使う筋肉が違う事は知っていたけど、それを身を持って知った出来事だった。

Anesthesia Incident

I had a dentist's appointment at 10:30 a.m. I got anesthesia so around my lips was numb for a while.
After the dentist, I came to BJ club and started working.
Speaking Japanese was OK, but I realized that speaking English was pretty difficult.
I know we use different muscles when we speak English, but I didn’t know the difference was so drastic.
Terry said, ‘Don’t come to work drunk.’ But I didn’t.

忘れもの

夏休みに大阪に行った時、素敵な帽子屋さんがあった。
そこでキャップを買った。
とても気に入っていた。しかし先週それは消えた。
レストランに被っていった記憶はある。
食事をして（お酒を飲んで）帰りにもっていたかどうかは全く記憶にない。
レストランに電話しても「ありません」と言われた。
数回しか被ってない。
とても悲しい。
そこでキャップを買った。

When I was walking towards ‘Shinkagetsu’, there was a hat shop.
There I found a nice cap and bought it.
I really liked it, but I lost it last weekend (maybe at a restaurant).
I'd only worn it several times.
I’m so sad.
