選手宣誓

｢生かされている命に感謝し、仲間と共に困難を乗り越えよう｣
甲子園での野山主将の選手宣誓の一部だ。
力強く、思いが込められていて、また涙が出そうになった。

大震災で被災した方々、命がけで原発復旧に努める方々、物資を必死に届けようとする方々。
テレビ画面を見る度、胸がしめつけられる。

｢人ごと｣では済ませられない非常事態。
皆で助け合って、今、そして長期に渡り、私たち一人一人ができる、小さな事を積み重ねていきたい。

空腹

幼稚園で入会受付をした直後、ＡＴＭに入金に行った。
急激にお腹が減ったので｢皆になにか食べるもの買って帰ろう｣と元気よく和美に言った。とりあえずマックスバリューのフードコートへ行くと、お店が全てなくなっていた。あそこの二重焼き好きだったのに。。。仕方ないのでＢＪまでの帰り道になにか買おうということになった。

車にのって、ガソリンがなくなってきているのに気付いた。スタンドに停めて財布をだした。中には1,000円しか入っていなかった。
｢なにか買ってあげる｣と張り切って言った私の財布にはわずか1,000円。
しかもそれはガソリン代金に充てられる事となった。
その日の仕事中（夜の９時まで）ずっとお腹がすいて倒れそうだった。

Being hungry

We had a registration day at kindergarten.
After that, we went straight to the ATM to deposit all the money we collected.

I was extremely hungry at that time.
I said to Kazumi, ‘I’ll get something to eat for everyone at work. What would you like to eat?’
Kazumi said, ‘Anything is fine.’
We went to the food court in Maxvalu.
All the shops were closed.
I liked the ‘Nijuyaki’ there. I was shocked.
We decided to get something on the way back to work.
Then I realized that we were running short of gas.
We stopped at a gas stand.
I opened my wallet.
There was only 1,000 yen in my wallet.

I had said that I would buy something to eat for everyone at work, but there was only 1,000 yen. I also had to spend that 1,000 yen on gas.

I was hungry all that evening.
