休肝日の収穫

土曜日は健康診断だった。
前日午後９時以降は飲み食い禁止だ。
朝用意しておいたご飯と味噌汁を、仕事中に流し込んだ。
「胃の検査をやめたら飲めるのに」と私の中の悪魔が囁いたが、強く我慢した。
「金曜の夜なのに食事もお酒もなしだなんて…」
午後９時に仕事を終え、いつもはウキウキする道のりを、肩を落としながら家路についた。
家に帰って特にすることもないので、パソコンを開いた。
写真のサンタさんと、巻きつくライトが、この夜の収穫だ。
正面から見ると実は怖いけど、後ろから見ると、可愛くてお茶目。
自己主張が控えめで、今私の一番のお気に入りだ。

The shattered screen

I’ve been using my iPhone for about 5 years.
It’s so damaged, as we can see in the picture. It says it has no capacity anymore.
After the kindergarten lesson last Friday, I hurried to get back to work to reserve an iPhone X.
The start time for reservations was 4:01 p.m., and with the help of Nathan, I managed to reserve the phone right after 4:01.
Now I am waiting to hear from the store. I just hope my present phone keeps working until the day of the new phone’s arrival.
