英検から知らせがきた。
来年の英検は酒祭りの日と重なっている。
なぜ？

色々対策を考えたが、いまだに良い解決案が思いつかない。

I got a letter from Eiken.
Next year’s Eiken is scheduled for the same day as Sake Matsuri.
Why?
On the most fun day in Saijo?

早いもので、あと一週間で英検本番だ。
できる事は全部してきた。
褒めて、叱って、激励した。
限られたレッスン時間内で、やれる事は全部やった。
家庭学習の方法も毎回言った。
マークシートの書き方も教えた。
もう少し頑張らないと！とも気付かせるようなこともした。
もうこれ以上、私にできることはあまりない。
後は子ども達次第だ。
皆が合格することを祈りながら、明日は酒祭りに行くことにしよう。
できる事は全部してきた。

I’ve done everything that I could.
I praised, scolded, and encouraged the kids.
I made the most of the limited lesson time.
I showed them how to study at home.
I even taught them how to fill out the answer sheet.
There isn’t much I can do anymore.
It’s all up to the students now.
I’ll just pray, and go to Sake Matsuri tomorrow.
