会話 ～苛立ち編～

ドラッグストアで買い物をした。メンバーズカードを持って行くのを忘れていた。
お店の人が｢メンバーズカードお持ちですか？｣と言った。説明するのが面倒だったので｢いいえ｣と言った。
すると｢お作りしましょうか？｣と聞く。もう、いいから…と思いつつ｢持っているんですけど今日忘れてきたんです｣と答える。
それで終わればいいものを｢ポイントは後付けできませんがよろしいですか？｣と聞いてくる。
私、ポイントつきませんか？って質問していません。
ポイントはいらないからカードなしで買い物をしたんです…
と心の中で言いながら、次にカードを忘れた時、あそこではもう買い物できない。と思った。

Conversation- Frustration

I went to a drugstore and did some shopping.
I didn’t have the store’s member’s card with me.
The salesclerk asked me, ‘Do you have a member’s card?’ I wanted the minimum of conversation, so I said, ‘No’.
He asked, ‘ Would you like to have one?’
I said, ‘I already have one.’ Then he said, ‘I’m sorry we cannot add points later, is it OK?’
Yes! it was OK. Did I ask you to add points later?
I didn’t care about any points.
That was why I’d done my shopping without the card.
I’m not sure how to avoid having that kind of conversation when I don’t have my member’s card.
